Lisa: What computer game are you playing?
Mark: It’s called Lineage-It’s really fun.
Lisa: It looks a lot like the Lord of the Rings movies. Have you ever seen them?
Mark: Only about five times, each!
Lisa: Yeah, me too. I can’t wait until Return of the King comes out on DVD!
Mark: That shouldn’t be too long. In the meantime, you can play Lineage.
Lisa: Is it difficult?
Mark: Not after some practice. Pull up a chair and watch.

Mark: Now that you’ve registered online, you can choose the character you want to play.
Lisa: I’d like to be a monster.
Mark: That’s not a choice. How about being a wizard, or an elf?
Lisa: Aren’t there any female characters?
Mark: You could be a princess.
Lisa: No, that’s boring. Maybe I’ll try my hand at being a wizard.
Mark: That should be fun. Now, what kind of adventure do you want?
Lisa: Can I create a magic potion to make you do my homework every night?
Mark: Very funny.

Mark: It looks like you’ve mastered Lineage.
Lisa: Almost. Yesterday I rescued a princess from a dragon.
Mark: That’s great! You’re learning really fast!
Lisa: I wish I could do stuff like this at school. Lessons would be so much more interesting.
Mark: That’s the truth. Actually, I’ve heard that computer games can help stimulate the brain.
Lisa: So they make you smarter and more creative?
Mark: Some people say that. Just be careful not to become a computer game junkie.
