F :You know how ? I am so excited. I can't believe my parents got me a new car for my birthday!
L : Oh , that’s great !
F : Thanks ! Hey , want to go for a ride ?
L : No, thanks .
F : Why not ? You must be crazy !
L : You think you are so great ?

F : Excuse me. What do you mean by that?
L : You're always bragging about your new car and showing off .
F : Well, it's really a beautiful car and it's a convertible to boot.
L : See, that's what I mean. You think you are such hot stuff.

F : Is someone turning a little green there?
L : All you do is talking about that car.

F : I think you're jealous because you don't have a car.
L : So what ! My parents can't afford to get me a car even a motorcycle. They're struggling just to keep me in school.

L : I'm sorry, too. You are a great roommate and you're always willing to share everything.
